Architecture Year 1 - Design Principles and Methods

The Design Principles and Methods module taught the conventions of architectural hand drawing in first year. This was done through two short drawing exercises and taught how to accurately measure and record artefacts and spaces, then how to correctly represent these in orthographic projection. The module taught me the need for legibility when conveying three dimensional objects and spaces as two dimensional drawings.
